Research Scientist in University of
Maryland/ESSIC. Former President of COAA 2012 and Former Deputy Director of
Central Weather Bureau in Taiwan. His main research area is Satellite Remote
Sensing, especially in Microwave Temperature/Precipitation retrieval and Image
processing system integration. He got Second
grade work merit Award for public servant, given by Executive Yuen, Taiwan on
2003 and Work Merit Award for Excellent management and execution on upgrading
Satellite ground system project, given by Central Weather Bureau, 2010, etc. He
has been invited to be the author of three books about cloud and weather in
Taiwan. He was two National University’s part time Professor when he was
working in Taiwan. He currently is main member in NOAA NPP/VIIRS instrument
calibration and validation team. |
