COAA AGU Banquet 2014
Dear All, It is the AGU and AMS time of the year again. Following a successful Chinese-American Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (COAA) Dinner Party last year at AGU in San Francisco, COAA is pleased to announce the upcoming COAA Banquet during this year's AGU meeting on Thursday evening (6pm-10pm, Dec. 18 2014) at the 2nd Floor Big Banquet Room at the following Chinese restaurant (which is within 5-minute walking distance to the AGU conference):

The COAA AGU Banquet aims to foster friendship, communication and networking among fellow Chinese professionals attending the conference and to congratulate those who are honored at the AGU Meeting (including the AGU awardees, AGU fellows and any newly elected AGU officials from Chinese American community) and new COAA Honorary Fellows.
Please mark your calendar and join us at the Reception to have a great night with other Chinese professionals. Detailed registration information will be available to COAA members and friends in October. Please pay close attention on any further email communications from COAA in coming months.
To support a successful member communication event like this, COAA is pleased to subsidize part of the dinner cost. As a non-profit organization however, COAA heavily relies on donations and sponsorships to organize big events such as this AGU and the upcoming AMS Receptions. Any co-host interests (from American and Chinese Universities and Institutes) and any sponsorship interests are sincerely welcome.
