4. Climate Modeling

5. Climate Reanalysis

- Development and analyses of climate reanalysis
- Evaluation of the state, utilization, limitation and potential utility of the current reanalysis
- Data assimilation technique
- Examine reanalysis products for potential improvements

6. Ocean Process and Climate

8. Integrative Monsoon Frontal Rainfall Experiment (IMFRE)

- Multi-source observations of Meiyu clouds and precipitation properties
- Dynamics and thermodynamics of Meiyu precipitation including its moisture budget
