COAA 2002 Scientific Workshop
March 2002
Dear COAA Members and Guests:
The first COAA scientific workshop of Year 2002 has been scheduled on March 23 (Saturday), from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the 2nd Floor Auditorium (Room #2400), Computer and Space Sciences Building (C&SS), Department of Meteorology, University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP). Eight speakers from government agencies and universities have agreed to present their recent research in oceanic, atmospheric and earth sciences. The C&SS is located at the Stadium Drive (in front of the ICA Practice Foot Fields). Building C&SS is indicated as #224 at the location E-6 on the map.
Preceding the scientific presentations from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., COAA will prepare a complimentary breakfast with Chinese dim sum, coffee, tea and soft drinks. After the workshop, a luncheon will be held at the Seven Seas Chinese Restaurant, College Park. The address, directions, menu, and the cost of each person are indicated in the attachments below.
